Art Show at Lola’s

A showing of my art at local Asheville Salon & Gallery @lolasalon went up this past week.  I am featuring a large painting of a Koala – the proceeds of this sale will be donated to Humane Society International to aid the rescue of animals injured in the wildfires in Australia. Upcoming Studio Stroll

Kenilworth Artists  Studio Stroll ~ May 27 & 28 ~ 10am -5pm

I am once again, participating in a studio stroll in the Kenilworth neighborhood of Asheville, NC.  There is great information on the 19 artists participating in this years tour at this link: kenilworthartists.org, along with a map of the studios to visit.

My sheep family was inspired by the mountains I now live with, wrapping around us at every turn.  This  latest work will be on view along with a number of other new pieces for the studio stroll.

Asheville Urban Landscape Project

I joined an outdoor painting group yesterday and discovered a awesome location and business – Blue Ridge Daylily Farm. It’s colorful, enormous and staffed by a very friendly crew. Lots of fun and definetly inspiring !
