I will be participating in an art show here in Northern Virginia and would love to get the word out to the community that this event is happening. It is a night filled with art from 7pm – 10pm you can take in a juried art exhibit (purchase the art!), poetry reading storytelling and theatrical perfomers ….and there’s wine!
It all supports the Fairfax County organization: Our Daily Bread, which provides help to struggling residents int he Fairfax County area.
It will be May 2, 7-10pm at the Sherwood Center in Fairfax City
In two weeks I will be part of a group of artists showing our work at the local community center. It’s pretty exciting to be a part of this – looking forward to helping with the hanging of the work this Monday. I feel like I am jumping in to the deep end – the other artists are a bit more accomplished but here goes!
